James Lingwood has produced and directed numerous international film and television programs throughout the world. Having been awarded over sixty international film & television prizes, James was invited to become a member of the International Quorum of Motion Picture Producers, USA whose membership consists of some of the world’s top film & television producers in over 60 countries. In Dublin, 2019, James was awarded the prestigious Walter Klein Trophy for Most Inspirational Film for his film Through the Eyes of Children at the International Quorum Conference.
James has recently directed a short film which is part of a collaborative collection of films from filmmakers from all over the world to make up the feature film, The Impact, which is about to have its World Premiere in London. As well, James wrote and directed the multi award-winning short film, The Wrong Man, which is also a proof-of-concept for the feature film.
Shekar Mani is a renowned advertising and marketing professional with over 25 years’ experience across Asia, US and Australia. Responsible for seeking out and accessing financial opportunities, Shekar directed and produced many TVC and corporate films for the famous Taj Group of Hotels during the 90’s, earning multiple global awards.
Having recently completed his PhD at Stanford University, Shekar has wide-ranging experience across Asia-Pacific with stellar achievements in the finance and advertising sectors.
Shekar has recently formed a film & television production company, Great Southern Ark Productions, in Australia and Mumbai with Australian Producer/Director James Lingwood.
Two recent films which Shekar worked on as Prod/Actor are Salt Bridge and Main Aur Charles.
Kartik is a highly experienced media consultant, content producer and film salesman. He is responsible for gaining connections to distribute the film in India, New Zealand and Australia. His company Forum Films NZ Limited is the biggest distributor of Bollywood and Punjabi (a.k.a Pollywood) movies in New Zealand, Fiji Islands, Papua New Guinea and the Australian market. They are home to the biggest Indian blockbuster films, including Saina, Koi Jaane Na and Mumbai Saga. The strength of their international relations and partnerships consistently ensures great box office outcomes for the company.
Kevin is a Canadian film and television producer and founder/CEO of Minds Eye Entertainment - Canadian film production and distribution company.
Kevin’s career includes over 60 films and television shows. Projects of note include A Score to Settle, The Englishman’s Boy, Forsaken, The Tall Man, and recently, Dangerous, which was released by Lionsgate last November as their most successful film of 2021 for the U.S and U.K .
His work in independent cinema has earnt him over 50 international awards and 52 nominations between the Genie, Gemini, and Canadian Screen Award, amongst which he scored 13 wins.
He is also the former Chairman of the Canadian Film and Television Production Association and past president of the International Quorum of Motion Picture Producers.
Since entry to the film industry via fine arts, theatre and corporate commercials, Penny Wall has amassed wide-ranging production experience within the film and television screen media industry with Producer credits across a number of feature and television programmes. A few selected Producer credits include the Singaporean/Chinese film Heavens: The Boy & His Robot; Through the Eyes of Children; Acolytes; K9; The Shapies; Animal Park; Sons of Steel.
Penny was an inaugural Board member of QPIX film resource centre and has consulted for indigenous and assorted film organisations and universities. Penny has also been honoured by the Australian Cinematography Society for Services to the film industry.
Olivia graduated from film school at Bond University and has been an intern at Screen Queensland.
Olivia produced and was 1st Assistant Director on The Wrong Man short film in 2022. She also co wrote and performed the theme song for the film, Haunted Ones, as she is also a professional singer/songwriter on the side of her budding film career. Currently in post-production and soon to be released is the documentary And So They Sing about music therapy for Aphasia, which Olivia produced and co-directed. Additional to this are two feature films in development: She Who Dares, a co-production with Italy, and The Shed, written by Des Power AM and to be directed by Nadia Tass, one of Australia’s leading film and theatre directors. With fellow producer Mark Patterson in the lead, The Shed is being developed for both screen and stage.
The brother of Oscar-winning cinematographer Dion Beebe, Damien is an expressive DOP in his own right with a genuine passion for film. Being completely immersed in the film industry from a young age, his extensive knowledge of the craft led him to earning significant credits including Mary Poppins Returns, Edge of Tomorrow, 13 Hours, and Into the Woods. Other recent DOP credits include Black Water: Abyss and Aiyai: Wrathful Soul. Proficient in a wide range of styles and genres, Beebe is highly regarded both as a visual storyteller and for his technical brilliance behind the camera.
Rebekah O'Sullivan is an Australian entertainment, intellectual property and immigration lawyer who works between the USA, London and Australia. She has represented A-list professional actors, cast and crew who have worked in productions such as Thor, Westworld, Fast and Furious, and Pirates of the Caribbean, amongst others. Matthew Keegan - Writer
Matthew is a Screenwriter and Novelist. In 2013 he published his debut novel A Darker Green, followed by Hindsight in 2017. After completing his third novel The Brothers in 2019 he switched to writing screenplays due to his love of film and optioned his first script Train Dogs that year. More screenplays have followed since.
David Hirschfelder - Composer
David Hirschfelder is recognised globally as one of Australia’s most distinguished screen-composers, having garnered Oscar nominations for Scott Hicks' "Shine" and Shekhar Kapur’s “Elizabeth”. He is also the winner of two BAFTA (British Academy) awards for "Strictly Ballroom" and "Elizabeth".
David’s recent film-scores include Jonathan Teplitzky’s "The Railway Man", which won AACTA and APRA film score awards in 2014; Russell Crowe's "The Water Diviner", which won the 2014 FCCA Regal Cinema Award for Best Music Score, and also APRA-AGSC Soundtrack of the Year Award in November 2015. In December 2015, David received an AACTA nomination for his eclectic score to Jocelyn Moorhouse’s "The Dressmaker", starring Kate Winslet, Judy Davis and Hugo Weaving; and in 2019 David has garnered AACTA and FCCA nominations for his score to Rachel Griffith's "Ride Like a Girl", starring Teresa Palmer and Sam Neil.
David’s ability to create mood by drawing inspiration from Australia’s unique and vast landscapes and culture will be an asset to creating the desired feeling of drama and desperation in The Wrong Man.
